DPDP notice (India)

This notice supplements our Privacy policy for users in India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), where applicable.

For firm staff accounts, Saltman typically acts as a data fiduciary for account and usage data. For client files and matter content your firm uploads, Saltman generally acts as a data processor on your firm's instructions; your firm remains responsible for lawful basis, notices to clients, and retention.

You may contact us to exercise rights available under the DPDP Act (such as access, correction, erasure, or grievance) at privacy@saltman.in. We will respond within timelines required by law.

Cross-border processing may occur where subprocessors host or process data outside India; we implement appropriate contractual and technical measures.
