Terms of use
These terms govern access to Saltman ("we", "us") at saltman.in and related applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the CA firm you represent.
Saltman provides AI-assisted research, document management, and practice workflows for Indian tax and compliance professionals. Outputs are informational aids only; your firm remains responsible for professional judgment, client advice, and filings.
Acceptable use
You may use Saltman only for lawful professional practice. You must keep credentials confidential, respect client confidentiality, and not upload unlawful or infringing material.
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or overload the platform; circumvent access controls; resell the service without authorization; or use outputs to misrepresent professional advice as government or court positions.
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, security risk, or breach of these terms.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free AI outputs, or fitness for a particular client matter.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saltman and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the product.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Refunds and cancellation

The refunds and cancellation section below is being reviewed by counsel and may be updated before it takes effect.
Paid plans renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise at purchase.
Refund eligibility, pro-rata credits, and chargeback handling are determined by the plan terms in effect at purchase. Contact billing@saltman.in for billing disputes. See also FAQ — Billing.
Disputes are subject to the laws of India; courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
