Privacy policy

Last updated July 2026

This policy explains the personal data Saltman processes to provide and secure the service. A firm may also have its own privacy obligations for client data placed in its workspace.

Data we process

Data can include account details, authentication identifiers, organization and client metadata entered by users, uploaded documents, product activity, support communications, and billing records.

How data is used

We use data to provide requested features, authenticate users, enforce workspace access, process configured billing, maintain security, troubleshoot reliability, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

When an AI feature is used, query text and retrieved excerpts may be processed by configured model providers under the applicable service arrangements.

Cookies and local storage

Essential browser storage supports sessions and security. Non-essential use requires the choice shown in the cookie banner. Signed-in users can reopen cookie choices from Settings.

Storage, subprocessors, and retention

Data may be processed on infrastructure operated by Saltman or service providers subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Retention depends on the data type, workspace use, contractual requirements, security needs, and applicable law.

Access, correction, and deletion

Where applicable, request access, correction, or deletion at privacy@saltman.in. Authorized organization users can also initiate available export and deletion workflows from Settings.

See the DPDP notice for India-specific context.
